Klamath Falls' Children's Museum: On the Verge

This is the 7th year that Christa Crone-Launius has been working with local parents, clubs and businesses to open the much anticipated Children's Museum of Klamath Falls. The Museum is aimed at providing local children with new avenues and programs that instill the excitement, adventure and curiosity of learning. Crone-Launius expects to finalize the opening date within weeks, "Hopefully before school is out." she said. The Museum will provide a fun, interactive environment for children and families to explore and discover the ever-changing world around them. Crone-Launius looks forward to possible summer camp opportunities and is excited by the unique exhibits, like the sound-booth recording studio, being utilized by visitors of all ages. The Children's Museum project has been assisted by an amazing core of community volunteers, high school students, a small board, professional consultants and donations from the local community. There are many ways you can help this worthy cause. Visit their website, linked below, to learn much more. You know, we work day in and day out in the building, and when new groups come in and experience the exhibits for the first time and you see their faces light up, you're reminded of how the work has paid off, she added.
